Alice Cooper [Feb. 12th, 2008|08:39 am]

[mood |anxiousanxious]

Lately I've been feeling so anxious about the fate of my chosen presidential candidate, Barack Obama. The suspense of this current primary election is killing me! Does anyone else feel the same way?

In my current state of political anxiety, I find Alice Cooper's hysterical (1973) music video "Elected" so comforting.

Rock on!

It's definitely a very suspenseful time! It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I'm supporting Hillary though.

Interesting that you say that because Texas is one state that is making me most anxious!

that Alice Cooper video made my night by the way!

Hi Whit, Great to see you on here. I love your MySpace page. Glad you liked the video. I'm feeling slightly less anxious about Obama winning now that he's in the lead, but he still has to take Ohio and Texas, so let's keep our fingers crossed. I don't really want to vote for Hillary.

Although I've no interest in the outcome of this election since the same entities always seem to triumph in "democracies", it's always good to see Alice.

Watching this vid reminds me how little taste the man had. And that's a good thing!

Really? I think Obama has a shot at winning the election, while Hillary does not. I don't expect my countrymen will vote for a woman president while the country is at war.

I love Alice Cooper!

Hmm...hadn't really thought about that. I think Hillary's chances are more hampered by the fact that she's a polarising personality rather than her being a woman.

I guess the ultra-cynic in me reckons that who ever wins, Republicans or Democrats, it won't amount to a hill of proverbial beans.

Sad to say, you are probably right.
